Problem Note 40586: A SAS® process might fail when you invoke it with SAS/CONNECT® software's SIGNON command

When you use the SASCMD= option in SAS/CONNECT software's SIGNON command to invoke a SAS® process, the program might stop responding. This issue might occur when the value of the SASCMD= option is 935 characters or greater.
No error messages are written to the log file. However, the following message might appear in the process :
NOTE: Background signon to xxx in progress.
To work around this issue, shorten the value of the SASCMD= option.
